The Preconstruction Manager plays a key leadership role in shaping projects from concept to contract. This position partners closely with clients, designers, and internal teams to define scope, manage budgets, reduce risk, and set projects up for success before construction begins.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead preconstruction planning, budgeting, and scheduling initiatives and tasks
- Collaborate with owners and design teams across multiple market sectors
- Oversee estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews
- Identify risks and drive innovative, proactive solutions
- Support client presentations and early relationship building
- Ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong preconstruction or estimating background with a general contractor, preferably within the Kansas City market.
- Experience leading teams and working directly with clients
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills

The Estimator supports our pursuit and preconstruction efforts by developing accurate, thoughtful, and competitive project pricing. This role works closely with preconstruction and operations teams to help drive informed decisions and successful outcomes.

- Prepare quantity takeoffs and conceptual through detailed estimates
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents
- Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor pricing
- Assist with value engineering and cost optimization
