Employee Honors: Larry Hazelrigg
KCG is pleased to announce that Larry Hazelrigg was the recipient of the Superintendent of the Year award from the American Subcontractors Association of Kansas City. Larry was honored along with several other winners by the ASA last summer at their annual banquet. Congratulations Larry on a terrific job!
New Employee: Jamie Senter
We are pleased to announce that Jamie Senter has joined KCG as an estimator/project manager. Many will know Jamie from years past as President of Winn-Senter Construction and as a past Chairman of the Board for the Builders Association.
Company Honors:
KCG was recently once again honored by Ingrams Magazine as Best Commercial Contractor. KCG received the Silver award for 2014. This is the third year in a row that KCG has been recognized by the readers of Ingrams for this prestigious honor.
2015 Kelly Construction Group Scholarship Winner:
KCG is pleased to announce Rick Smith as the recipient of our 2015 Builders Association Scholarship Award. Rick is a junior at Iowa State University, repeat Big 12 Basketball Champions.
Recent Appointment
Scott Kelly, President of Kelly Construction Group was elected as the new Chairman of the Board of the Builders Association for 2015. Scott has served on the Builders Board in various roles since 2002.
New Project: KU Multi Specialty Clinic
KCG was awarded a 12,000 square foot medical clinic in Overland Park by The University of Kansas Hospital. The project with an anticipated completion date of July, will provide various levels of healthcare services to Johnson County residents. Stanley Brandel is the Superintendent on the project and David Hayes is providing Project Management leadership duties.
KU Urgent Care Center at Sprint Center
KCG completed Kansas City’s first downtown urgent care clinic, which opened Monday, March 16, 2015 for The University of Kansas Hospital. KCG was recently awarded The Plaza 211 Project by Highwoods Properties. The project consists of the complete transformation of the old Halls Building on the Plaza.
